I installed mk_zypper as agent plugin and basically it works fine.
According to Zypper: (Security) Updates it is possible to configure criticals and warning by using the rule “Zypper Updates”. Unfortunately this rule is just an “enforcing rule” and provides no possibility to configure parameters. Actually I would prefer to suppress warnings.
Another issue: I prefer to check the update status maybe twice a day and not every several minutres. Is there any way to do this? I have active checks configured to run only once a day but it seems that this kind of rule doesn’t work if I filter for “Zypper Updates”.
The Agent plugin has the same version as Checkmk: “2.1.0p39”
