would like to know if the label from a parent folder can be inherited along with the child folder label. for example, the child folder should contain both the parent label and its own special label created. and the third subfolder should have both the parent’s label.

labels are key:value and are inherited down the folder structure as long as there is no subfolder or host that overwrites it with another value.
If your two mentioned labels are different labels, those can be set at every folder level and will be inherited until overwritten. So if the parent label and the special label are two different labels, you are able to set those for the third folder through the two parent folders.

Thanks for the input, got lost when I was not able to see all the inherited labels when setup the host. but was able to see once the setup was complete.
it would have been good to have them populate on the host setup page as well.
