We would like to make our own dashobards available on a screen for everyone. But we have the problem that they do not refresh automatically.
On the “Views” there is the “Automatic page reload” but not on the dashboards.
what have i overlooked or how can we implement this without 3 party browser refreshers?
In your Dashboard click on the Top-Menu Dashborad > Enter Layout mode.
Then you can click on the gear for every view in the dashboiard and set the “Automatic page reload” individually.
Not all views have the “Auto reload page” option, e.g. the barplot, service statistics, combined chart etc. do not have the “Auto reload page” option.
There must be an option for a dashboard, otherwise it makes no sense to me.
I would like to support the introduction of an Auto Reload Dashboard option. For instance the barplot do not really update: the latest bar is just put on top of the existing ones.
Meanwhile, I installed a browser extension to refresh the tab containing the Dashboard using a timer.
Are there any news for this topic?
I can understand that you can control individual dashlets individually with the “Automatic page reload”.
But in my optinion wouldn’t it make more sense to be also able to specify this in the dashboard properties?

I would suggest to consider adding the idea to the ideas portal (ideas.checkmk.com) – that way other users would be able to see and vote for the idea and possibly support it. At the same time this portal is being checked by the product team, which probably could be the best people to see the idea.
