Delete CheckMK services in bulk

Hi guys,

I would like to delete CheckMK default services from all hosts. They are poluting my Problem dashboard with irrelevant events

I have like hundreds of lines like this. I’ve already acknowleged them all but I’d like to get rid of it for good.

The services in question : Check_MK and Check_MK HW/SW inventory.

@Pepito removing the CHeckmk service is not really possible - that would mean that you stop monitoring with Checkmk.

Also: That does not seem like an irrelevant problem. I think you have misconfigured your host. It looks like you are monitoring via SNMP, but have configured Checkmk to also expect agent output.

You need to set the datasource to “No agent”

You can disable the HW/SW Inventory globally through the “Do Hardware/Software Inventory” rule

Indeed I want to monitor my devices with SNMP only.

I tried the first step in your answer “No API integrations, no CheckMK agent” but the check is still there. Do I need to delete the host and add it again ?

Same question for “Check_MK HW/SW Inventory”, I put “Do not status data inventory” but the service is still showing.
