DEll Equallogic monitoring

Hi

I want to begin monitoring our 2 equallogic disk arrays. I’ve found there is an default extension (Dell Equallogic SAN Storage: Health- and Raid State), I’ve found it on the Check_MK server, but I can’t seem to find how to enable it.

Could someone point me in the right direction?

The description say “Supported Agents: SNMP”.

You have to create a host for your EqualLogic system and configure it as SNMP host.

Sorry, I really get confused sometimes in whether I need to explicitly set somewhere what kind of host I am adding or just depend on SNMP (whilst knowing it is supported)
