Hi,
I wanted to add some custom host labels on the client (like the cmk/ host labels). I figured out that I could do that by placing an file in /var/lib/check_mk_agent/spool . This seems to work!
But I cannot figure out howto deploy this spool file with the agent bakery. My first guess was the “Custom file” option in the agent rules. But reading the docs this doesn’t seems to be the right solution for me.
Is this possible? Or is there an other way to accomplish this?

Why would you want to do that with the agent bakery?
What kind of labels do you want to set this way?
If they are known on the monitoring server you could just use the ruleset “Host labels”.
Must be friday! And you are right, I was testing with static files but in real-life these files should be generated on the server it selves and deploying these makes no sense 
UNLESS the spooler files can be executable but they, but that’s not the case.
