Disabling Windows Log checks Centrally

We are on Check_mk V2.2 raw and some of over new Windows hosts generate a lot of logwatch services which we wanna disable them, we know it is possible to disable agents to send this logwatch data but we are looking for a way to do it from Check_mk centrally, is there any rule to disable processing of log checks for defined list of hosts?

Hi @a.ahmadzadeh,

there are several solutions for your problem:

  1. Set up an agent that does not collect the log files via the Agent Bakery. This is the perfect solution. Works with CEE, CCE or CME
  2. Manual configuration of the agent in CRE.
  3. Set up the Disabled Services rule for the log files on the Checkmk server.
