Hi all,
following this reply I configured Discord Notification on our CheckMK: Check_MK Discord notification - #4 by Norm
As I want to initially just test it, I cloned our general email alert rule, and changed the “Notify via Discord” option.
We started to receive alerts in our newly created general channel, ok.
After some hours I noticed that we were receiving a lot less alerts than the email alert rule, if it´s a mirror shouldn´t we receive the same alerts?
Even with that, we were receiving too many CRIT → OK in Discord, so I unselected that option, by my surprise, we are still receiving that kind of notification. (?)
More on this, as we need this only for Prio 1 and Prio 2 alerts I just filtered the rule by some services and HOST → DOWN…we weren´t receiving almost nothing at all, or received alerts about things that are not in the services I configured in the rule (for example certificates).
I created as well another rule and another channel for a department, notifications for that channel arrived well, but not in the general channel and they share some of the servers!
As I sum up I really wonder if this works at all, don´t know if I´m missing something.
