I am using checkmk agent to monitor the windows servce. But I found that not all the windows service can be discovered by Checkmk, but only some of service can be discovered. Is it expected ? Should checkMk able to disover all service?
CheckMK can discover all services if you want. What services exactly have a problem on your system. Keep in mind that a Windows service has every time two different names. The visible one and the internal one. It is better to use the internal name for discovery as there are no space or other special characters inside.
