i would like to have the sensor disk summary and not the individual sensors:
For this, I created a Disk IO discovery Rule with this options:
But the sensors still persist.
Any ideas?
It would be good to show al little bit more of your rule - the condition is the important information. And also you should have at the resulting rules for this host.
After you created the rule you need to do a discovery on the host again.
This is the rule:
I do a complete new discovery for the effected host.
Maybe it is not working because it is via snmp?
I think it depends on the type of agent that delivers the data.
For ucd_diskio fetched with SNMP it will not work i think.
For normal agent based data the summary is the default setting.
Ok thank you, i already thought that snmp is the problem. Do you know a way to cumulate that in a sensor?
If you monitor the Linux server with the Checkmk agent, you will get the summary you are looking for out of the box.
