Disk IO Summary

Hello every one. As you may know Disk IO summary is a predefined service in check_mk. But I want to change it to single which I can monitor each Disk or Partition separately. If you know how to that please inform me.

This rule can be found under Setup → Services → Service discovery rules → Disk IO discovery. To monitor each device separately, activate “physical disks” and/or “LVM volumes (Linux)”.

TNQ so much does it available for windows disks or other types of disks in linux ?

Also is there any way to monitor Oracle disks ? ASM ?

The rule works for all block devices under Linux, and Partitions in Windows. When configured like in the screenshot above, you get checks like “Disk IO C:”, “Disk IO D:” etc. under Windows.
