Hi, yesterday we created a new remote site in our distributed monitoring configuration. Now we can’t access the gui. After login only the following message on master instance:
Any ideas how to fix this? I have already checked file permissions and restarted apache services. OMD services seem to run ok on our master site.

Do you have the remote site connected to the master in the distributed monitoring configuration?
If that’s the case, could you check what’s the state of this part of the config?
You need to log in from here to finish the configuration of the site in distributed monitoring. Seeing the error, this could be what’s happening.

Hi David,
sorry i totally forgot about this thread. We have identified and solved the issue.
The new site was created with invalid characters which somehow caused this issue. We tried to remove the site via gui → setup → distributed monitoring but this was not fully successful and there were a few wato config files we had to manually edit to fully get rid of the remains. After everything was cleaned up the login with all our users was ok again.
