Documentation Kudos

I just wanted to drop a note of thanks to the overall team and people working on Check_MK and it’s documentation. I appreciate the little quality of life, performance and check improvements.

I specifically wanted to call out a thank you for the updates to documentation. I recently revisited the developing your own plugin page(s) and noticed marked improvement, in my opinion, of the flow and readability. While informative, the older pages felt disjointed to me and it was one of my early pain points as a non-developer.

Outside of renewing our licenses, I thought a personal thank you was in order.

Sincerely,
Scotsie

Scott, I have to thank you for letting me know on this way. If you hadn’t written your post, I wouldn’t have gotten any intel about these significant and much overdue updates.

I was waiting for these updated documents basically since the start of 2.0

So thank you!

Hi @scotsie and @simon-mueller! Thank you so much for these kind words. It makes us the feel like we are on the right track, and the huge amount of work my team has put into the new “build your own plugin” articles has been totally worth it!
