Does acknowledging a Hardware Sensor (VMware ESX via vSphere) acknowledge them all?

I am using “VMware ESX via vSphere” to look at ESXi hosts. One of these hosts has a known broken or incompatible sensor (ESXi believes that its processor is -48 degrees C and it always has). ((Free) ESXi does not appear to have a “disable this sensor” option).

I know that in checkmk (raw) I can acknowledge a CRIT issue. If I acknowledge this “Hardware Sensor” problem in checkmk would that acknowledge all “Hardware Sensor” issues? (I mean, if I have a hard-drive or a fan go out, would checkmk ignore this new addition since I’d acknowledged the “Hardware Sensor” for the processor temperature?)

The “Details” of this warning are:

Processor 1 Temp — 0.3.1.1: Red (Sensor is operating under critical conditions)CRIT
At least one sensor reported. Sensors readings are:
Processor 1 Temp — 0.3.1.1: Red (Sensor is operating under critical conditions)

If yes to the above is there some way that I could have this monitor “expect” these details but trip if others appear?

Thank you.

Ron

Yes it would acknowledge all sensor issues.
In such a case i would recommend to use the BMC of this server for the hardware monitoring and disable the “Hardware Sensor” check completely.
