Ec2 cpu utilisation in checkmk

how to get cpu utilisation in checkmk from an ec2 instance.
I am running checkmk server in a ec2 instance and want to monitor the server itself.
Is there a workaround for getting the cpu utilisation.

For ec2, install the agent on the server. It will then also create a lot of info on your Checkmk site.

@martin.hirschvogel I could only see AWS/EC2 summary in the monitoring dashboard.

If you are using the Enterprise Edition, you have to activate the Dynamic Config. Best follow the user guide

And for the host monitored additionally via agents, you have to merge the data sources via piggyback hostname translation
