Error in plugin checkmk_snmp Value entered is not an OID

CMK version: 2.4.0.p13
OS version:

Error message: Value entered is not an OID.

I try to monitor a Temperature Sensor over SNMP with Custom OID: 1.3.6.1.4.1.3444.1.14.1.2.1.5.1

Is there a workaround available.

Docs from version 2.4 Integrate Nagios plugins screenshot example suggests that OID starts with a dot:

But on my 2.1 server I have OID without starting dot:

From host view you can also Download SNMP walk to find and confirm your OID is correct.
