Error re google on airgap nagvis

CMK version: 2.3.0p26
OS version: Physical appliance

Error message:file_get_contents/https://google.se

Output of “cmk --debug -vvn hostname”: (If it is a problem with checks or plugins)

NagVis tries to access google for some reason. We do not have anything that links to google. Our server is not connected to the internet so probably the error relates to nagvis trying to contact google.

How can we remove this?

You have a service where the URL “https://google.se/” is inside the output.

The Nagvis Hover template now tries to access this URL.

Andreas,

Thanks for the quick reply.

That would make sense, but we should not have any references to google anywhere - the server has never been connected to the internet.

Can you be more specific when you say" “inside the output” ?

I have tried searching for all services with “.*google.*" in output:

Is there a search you can suggest to find the service or reference to google?

Thanks

-Arvid

Additional info: The popup with the error shows up exactly a minute after the nagvis map is fully opened in the browser. My mouse is not hovering during this time.

You can have a look at your NagVis map definition inside –> ~/etc/nagvis/maps –> grep there for google.

Then i will be not inside an agent output put inside a static map definition.

Other location could be “~/local/share/nagvis/..” if there are some custom components are installed.

If you go into browser, open context menu, inspect, then go to tab network in developer tools … maybe you can see what initiates the opening of google.se?

Alreade grepped oogle in maps - no map refers to google.

We have no custom components.

Nothing under ~/local/share/nagvis/htdocs/userfiles except phg, gif, and jpg under images/shapes.
