Exclude hosts from PiggyBack data/DCD

Hi all,

I wanted to migrate the manual creation host creation process, to the DCD and was wondering why I got some warnings (powered off VM’s, etc.)
As we use Piggyback data from our ESXi Environment, I wanted to exclude some VM’s but found no option for this setting.
For example, we use serveral VEEAM Replica jobs and I don’t want to monitor the powered off Replica VM’s or the newly (since ESXi 7.X?) automatic generated “vcls-…”-VM’s.

Hey zweersf,

from the documentation:

If you do not want to automatically create all hosts, you can do this by restricting the Only add matching hosts option with a regular expression.
Important: here we mean the hosts that are being created, and not the hosts you have set up to monitor AWS, for example.
