Expire date for acknowledges and downtimes not set

After upgrading to check mk raw 1.6.0p7 the expire date is not set for acknowledges and downtimes are not set and therefore the problem won’t be shown again in unhandled.

Can someone else confirm this bug? Or could it be some setting which overwrites the expire dates?

I have also tested this with an 1.6.0p8 and on a different host, problem was also there.

If you activate the onscreen help (click on the book icon on top right of the screen), you see the following information:

Note: Expiration of acknowledgements only works when using the Check_MK Micro Core.

→ not supported in checkmk raw edition, sorry.

Yes, this should probably be shown more prominently, not only in a “hidden” help text. Or even better, the GUI elements should not be shown at all in the raw edition or when not running cmc.

Regarding downtimes, please explain your problem in more detail. If it’s about regularly repeated (scheduled) downtimes, then again “(This only works when using CMC)” as is stated after the check box.

Thank you for your time and explanation.

Toogling help indeed shows it is not available and since you cannot active CMC for raw it would be nice to remove the expire date.

For the downtime part, this looks like I got a little bit confused while testing and set a 2h timer instead of an 2min timer, testing again worked as intended, so nothing wrong here.

Agreed. I posted a feature request for this:
