Export hosts between sites

I need to export some hosts (with their services) from a site 1 to site 2. I don’t know if it’s possible.

if it’s a small number of hosts, you can just change: “Monitored on site” in the host config

Hi,
what is your intension to move hosts? Best way is to get the host from the first site with Rest API and put it to new site als with the API. After that you can trigger the service discover via API. If you don’t want a service discaver, you can copy the Autochecks from one site to the other site.

How can I change the site via API?
If I do a GET of all my hosts I get inside the attributes->site and his value.
But if I only get 1 specific host, I dont get that field…

Hi.

You will get the field when you use the parameter “effective_attributes”.
