Features.checkmk.com - Status update? Where do we stand?

The Feature Portal seems to be a great success. It is actively used and ~600 feature requests have already been submitted.

Of course, we customers would have liked to see a mutch higher “in planning”, “in implementation” and “implemented” rate. The actual ~5% is quite disappointing. This is probably related to the fact that Tribe29 has a stong focus on “Cloud Services”, which ties up a large part of the developer resources.

The huge list of feature requests not related to “cloud services” strongly indicates a big backlog in development/improvement of the core components, core features and GUI usability.

I hope Tribe29 recognizes the current needs of their customers and I am confident that Tribe29 will align its focus for the 2.3 roadmap more on the clear customer demands which the entire product and all customers will benefit.

Just as Tribe29 promises again and again at all its conferences:

Help to shape the Checkmk roadmap interactively and influence the roadmap for the future of Checkmk. We are looking forward to getting your personal input and unique ideas for Checkmk depending on your use of the product.
