We’re trying to upgrade our CheckMk/Grafana environment from RHEL7 to RHEL8 or 9. We make heavy use of /bin/carbon-cache (python-carbon package from the EPEL repo) to store our performance history in whisper files in /var/lib/carbon. I think this is all part of “graphite”? Unfortunately, I no longer see a python-carbon package in the EPEL8 or 9 repos.
I know CheckMk has newer ways to integrate with Grafana, but that’s going to take SIGNIFICANT effort on our part… plus we have year’s worth of history in our whisper files now.
What am I missing here?
