GSM modems with voice support?

Hi,
there are a ton of GSM modems to send text messages from Checkmk for notifications.

Does anyone know of such a device that also supports to initiate calls?

The notification plugin would have to create an audio file via text2speech and send it to this device after the call has been established.

Calls are better at waking people up in the middle of the night than short text messages. :slight_smile:

Hi Robert,

we’re using the SMSeagle devices, one customer has licensed the text to speech feature, we haven’t updated the smseagle mkp in the exchange, yet as it’s not fully tested. But it works well so far :slight_smile:
In general sms eagle devices are imho worth their money as they run very stable (and for a long time) + support is super fast if ever needed.
