What does soft(Warning) and Soft (critical ) and hard alerts mean
Only hard state will trigger a notification.
A service that is in this intermediate state — i.e. is not OK but has not yet reached the maximum number of check attempts — will have a soft state . Only a hard state will actually trigger a notification.
