I was curious to where checkmk is pulling info from for hardware related errors? On this particular Proxmox server there are no memory hardware issues shown in the IPMI interface. So where is checkmk getting this data?

I also had this mention on a proxmox server regarding ‘hardware corruption’ - on a HP DL360Gen7
The longer it lasted the more the percentage went up.
A reboot of the box solved it for a short time, but it always came back eventually.

In the end the specific server was replaced (End of life) for a HP DL360Gen9, and the error never came back, so i never really ‘solved it’.

They didn’t say if it was a Proxmox server though. But they did also mention that their server admin couldn’t see any errors in the IPMI.

We made it easy for ourselves and raised the threshold :see_no_evil:
