Has anyone dealt with similar clauses in Checkmk contracts?

Hello everyone,

My organization is planning to invest in a license from Checkmk. According to the terms in the contract, I noticed the following clause:

13.1 The Provider shall be liable for losses arising from slight negligence only if such losses, as reasonably determined by the Customer, result from (i) a breach of a material obligation the violation of which endangers the attainment of the contractual purpose, or (ii) a breach of an obligation essential for the proper performance of the Contract

I would like to clarify what “slight negligence” means in this context. I hope you can provide me with some examples or scenarios regarding this matter.
