Hi, I would like to adjust the hostgroups view so that they are all expanded and I can see the individual members inside without having to click on each group, how do I do that?
Can I make a dashboard with that the expanded Hostgroups?

You mean inside 2.0 or? With 1.6 you had different views available.
But it should be possible to get the result you want. Clone the “allhosts” view and give it a new name. Then add “hostgroup the host is member of” to the sections “Sorting” and “Grouping”. Move booth to the top of the options. That is it. Now you have a new view with grouping by hostgroup and all members expanded. I don’t know why this old view was removed.
I think Nigel meant v2.0. I used the host groups view a lot in v1.6 as it is much more meaningful than the all hosts view. An option to expand the host groups view to show all the grouped host would be a useful feature addition to v2.0.
