Host groups in Grafana

We recently started to check out the Grafana integration of Checkmk.

Is it possible to define a variable for a dashboard that would allow to select a host group? It is possible to select a host group as a static filter, but so far I have found no way to switch between host groups in a dashboard.

The parameter “Object type to query” in the variable settings allows only “Site”, “Host” and “Service”. I think “Host Group” would be a great addition. Or is there another way already available now?
