Hi,
I have set many hosts to alert if they are down, however it happens that sometimes ping is not successful and I get an alert, host is actually not down. This causes a lot of false alarms.
Is there a way to set lets say ping command needs to fail 3 times until it will send an alert ??
The rule you are looking for is called “Maximum number of check attempts for host”

Yes, you can search the Setup and the Monitor menus. The monitor menu also accepts regexes, and has a sort of very basic ‘query language’, the Setup menu is only case insensitive free text
