$HOSTALIAS$ not working in ASCII Mail subject line?

Hi
i just noticed the follwing: i have notification rules via ASCII mail.
The subject line is as follows:
Host notifications: Check_MK: $HOSTNAME$ - $EVENT_TXT$ - SLA:Gold
Service notifications: Check_MK: $HOSTNAME$/$SERVICEDESC$ $EVENT_TXT$ - SLA:Gold

Now i changed the rule to have $HOSTALIAS$ instead of $HOSTNAME$ in the subject line but still thre is the hostname in all sent out notifications.
Do i miss something here or is this a bug?
Using 1.6p11CEE

The alias is populated with the hostname if no alias is set manually.

Do you have aliases set for the hosts sending out notifications?

Hi Robert
Yes i do have set the aliases :-). They differ from the hostname and i’d need these notifications for a certain different notification line

Ok i tried the option to copy the rules and change the subject line to $HOSTALIAS$ before saving.
No luck
I forgot to mention: notification bulking is enabled, maybe disabling helps.
I’ll try this and report back

Ok halfway success
Actually i have two notification rules with this. Copying one rule and replacing $HOSTNAME$ with $HOSTALIAS$ in the subject line worked, the other rule didn’t

Ok i could solve it by deleting the copied rules and re-copy them with the $HOSTNAME$ <-> $HOSTALIAS$ replacement
