I’d like to disable the battery check, or make it only a warning.
Is this the correct way to do it?
You can use Service state translation to remap crit to warn etc.
Setup > Services > Service monitoring rules > Service state translation.
Or Disabled services
Setup > Services > Service discovery rules > Disabled services
Especially for the ESX sensors, you can define for every sensor his own state.
In your case you use the complete name of the sensor (no regex allowed here i don’t know why) and set it’s status to good.
