How to add description on a host?

Is it possible to add a comment to a host? Something like when you create a rule and you can add a description

You can use the alias-field for comments.

Not that I am aware of. Beside the alias, which I dont find in 2.0 currently , you may use the following rules:

Host Contact Information
Its a free text.

Notes URL for Hosts
Could point to a wiki…

If you’re talking about WATO, you could use a custom attribute for this.

So it would then look like this in WATO:
