How to check the notification context for all the historical notification

CMK version: Community 2.4.0p24
OS version: ubuntu24.04

Hi All,

I am trying to review all the notification context for all the historical notification, but it seems the notification context only available for the recent 10 notification, there is no such notification context button under Notifications of host & Service, anyway i can find it ? Thanks.

No - CMK only save the context for the amount of notifications you specify for analysis.
But you can do something else, enable logging of the full context to the notification log. Then you get the context inside the log file for the last days. Rotation of log files will also sometime remove the old context information.

Hi Andreas,

– I dont’ think I specify such amount , I just check it from the recent notification analysis tab which only shows 10 alerts

But you can do something else, enable logging of the full context to the notification log. Then you get the context inside the log file for the last days. Rotation of log files will also sometime remove the old context information.
— how can I enable the logging ?

Thanks

This is the default value. If you are inside your analyse notification view you can open the menu and configure this option.

See my first screenshot. There is also the option for the log level.
