How to "deactivate" host labels?

CMK version: Checkmk Raw Edition 2.1.0p4
OS version: Ubuntu 22.04 LTS

Hi all,
after updating host labels on a docker container host, check_mk shows it’s status as DOWN.
Other containers are monitored correctly.
How can I remove host labels that are “Active”? Already tried to delete them and wait for automatic cleanup, but without any result; the labels are still active.
