The following devices are currently being monitored through SNMP checks, but I’d like to be able to understand the status of each device and their logs in more detail, so is there any way to do this?
Basically how-to monitoring their logs .
I am using Below version of CheckMK and Ubuntu:
CMK version: 2.2.0p6.cre
OS version:"20.04.6 LTS (Focal Fossa)
Here is the Device List : Firewalls
Checkpoint ,Forinet
If those devices support sending snmp traps or their syslog to specific targets, you can also use checkmk as target for snmp traps and syslog, and then use event console to process them accordingly.
The above feature is not available to me because I am using version 2.2.0p6.cre, which is not available with it.
Here’s another question: Using SNMP, I’ve added my devices, and I’m receiving information from remote devices (routers, firewalls, switches), it’s giving warning, okay, and critical statuses.
However, I would like to know if it is possible to use the same SNMP to get interface logs/STP status (CISCO,SHOW LOG) information in that place as well is it possible…?
Thanks,
Sudhakar Anguri.
