OS version of Checkmk server or monitored system: CENTOS on Checkmk server / Debian 10 on monitored system
Description of the problem : I have created a Service Monitoring Rule for “Windows Tasks” When I save and re-scan the hosts, i do not get any new service . Other custom service is discovered and work but i can not get this check to work
Is there any other step that i am missing to enable this service check
There is “C:\Program Files (x86)\checkmk\service\plugins” which holds all windows plugins which can be used, but none of them is executed by default
If you want to enable one of them, you have to place a copy in:
“C:\ProgramData\checkmk\agent\plugins”
If it is already located there, but the Checkmk Server doesn’t discover anything, please share the output of the checkmk agent which you can download using the checkmk UI (using the 3 bar/action menu of the service “Check_MK” for the host in question.)
hey thats what i was missing out. i copied the plugin the folder and its now working. WOW great thanks.
i really like this community thanks again to all
