How to update dynamic IP

I have a dynamic IP environment for some of my subnet and check_mk is losing connection to some of them because IP changed.

how do I make check_mk recognize the new IP and stay connected?
another question: is there a way to upgrade check_mk from the web interface without going into the Linux box?

Hallo,
1)
dynamic ip?
No working dns in combination with dhcp?

Updates via webinterface is possible when using the appliance.
The update via ssh / shell is simple.

There is a rule called Hosts with dynamic DNS lookup during monitoring which you can use for hosts whose addresses change frequently.

Also you can go to any host in WATO and press the manual button image . It will update all addresses on the site that this host is monitored on.

with my network admin’s help, I was able to fix this problem.
Apparently, there was an IP conflict with another device.
Once I got a new IP address the issue no longer exist.
thanks all for your input.
