How to use DHCP Pool Service in a firewall?

Hi,

Is it possible to use the DHCP Pool Service on firewall hosts?
If yes, how do you do it?

I’m using this service (don’t know if it is the right service) and it asks me the DHCP Pool name which in the firewalls it doesn’t exist

Short answer. No
Inside the field “Checktype” you see the plugin providing the data.
There are two options “isc_dhcpd” and the shown “win_dhcp_pools”.
If your firewall can provide the DHCP data over SNMP or some API then it would be possible to write an check for this data.
For one of my customers i made such a check for the DHCP scopes on Infoblox devices. It is possible but it depends on your systems and the provided data.

Oh so if I don’t get a DHCP information from SNMP or API it means I can’t really monitor the scopes?
