Hallo,
hat es schon jemand geschafft bei einem HP Drucker eine SNMP V3 Verbindung einzurichten?
Leider wird die Anfrage immer mit fehlender Berechtigung abgelehnt. Auch mit einem externen SNMP-Tool klappt es nicht. Ich habe aber alle Passwörter richtig übernommen.
Das Handbuch und auch Google, YouTube helfen nicht weiter.

I have tried before, but i ran into (when testing) into an error ‘bad context’.
Searching docs i then raised a rule to specify context (Setup > Agents > SNMP rules > SNMPv3 contexts to use in requests)
but there was no ‘jetdirect’ context i could select from the pulldown-menu.
I then tried to add a jetdirect mib, but that caused other problems ( upload complained about duplicate)
So in the end i fell back to snmpv2
As the results kept being glitchy in the end i decided to stop motitoring a/the printer fully.
Printer used to test: HP Color LaserJet M553
