Dear Checkmk Community,
With the fast progressing spread of the COVID-19 all over Europe, it does not seem sensible to hold a 2-day conference in Munich at the end of April with more than 300 participants, even though the health authorities have not yet banned the event.
We have therefore decided to change the format and switch to a pure online conference. An e-mail with more details on what this means has been sent to the registered participants.
What do we expect to happen?
- The conference date and the presentations slots will remain as in the current agenda. If necessary, we will compress the breaks in order to adjust for the reduced interaction possibilities during the breaks.
- By having both a ‘presenter’ and a ‘moderator’, we will ensure that this format also allows for interactive elements and Questions & Answers.
- We are currently investigating technical solutions to ensure both interactivity and to avoid problems with the security settings of company networks. For this purpose we will also circulate a trial login in the run-up to the conference. Here we would also be very grateful for ideas from the community! Maybe one of you has already stumbled across a solution that could help.
- We will provide a format in which we can collect your input for the product roadmap - as in the past years. If you know a good solution, please feel free to post here your suggested tool.
We are working on updating the conference page so you can register to the online conference. If you have already bought a ticket, please refer to the e-mail sent to you for instructions on how you can proceed.
