Install Issue. Need help

CMK version: 2.3.0p7.cre
**OS version:**Ubuntu 22.04

Error message:
All the install went well, gave me a URL and the admin and pw and started all services and set the A record to point to the IP. But doesn’t connect. Comes up with an error refused connection. THis was a fresh install too.

Any ideas? Tks

It works if I type the IP instead of the domain. I basically pointed the subdomain to point to the IP but it didn’t take. Was also set to non-proxied in CF. So ip/monitoring works but subdomain/monitoring does not work although sub domain points to the IP.

So if I understand correctly it works through IP but it can not be resolved by DNS ? It sounds like there may be a DNS or configuration issue with how the subdomain is set up. Here are some steps to troubleshoot and resolve this issue:

  • Ensure that the subdomain’s A record points to the correct IP address.
  • Use a DNS lookup tool (like dig, nslookup, or an online DNS checker) to verify that the subdomain resolves to the correct IP address.
    *Ensure that there are no firewall rules blocking access to the subdomain.
    *Check logs

Sometimes, browsers cache DNS responses or redirect information. Clear your browser cache or try accessing the subdomain from a different browser or in incognito mode.
