Iptables - new rediscovery without any changes. still critical

**CMK version:**2.0.0p22 (CFE)
OS version: debian 11

Error message: changes in filters table detected

Hey there!

I currently use checkmk for my monitoring on a kvm server. Works really great and I am strongly considering using this as a version in the professional environment. Thanks for this!

I currently have a problem with the service “iptables”. It does not run fail2ban or similar (because kvm-instance). Here I have a problem because a change to the iptables leads to a critical-alarm. But apparently I am really too stupid to reinitialize them. When I do a service rediscovery, the service is green. But not in the effective system. The alarm has been set to critical for days.

Am I too stupid to use a GUI? Or am I forgetting something?

Thanks in advance!

Turns out I was really too stupid to use a GUI.

That was the solution. Thanks a lot!

And if you don’t want to refresh all services, you can move the relevant one to undecided and then back to monitored.

That’s more steps, however. Yes, the GUI still lacks a single button/action to “remove/rediscover (this|selected) service(s)” instead of all.
