I know that I can set a “Maximum number of check attempts” rule, but then I have to wait 2 or 3 minutes to know an HTTP check has well and truly failed.
Is there any way to have an HTTP check retry two or three times in an immediate fashion, similar to how this can be set on an SNMP check?
Thanks. So that will set the retry interval. Is the number of retries set by the " “Maximum number of check attempts for service” rule?
Example: for http type checks, the defaults are currently normal interval 1 minute, retry 1 minute, check attempts 1. If I set the retry interval to 10 seconds, and the number of check attempts to 4, then it will check up to 4 times every minute, correct? (Note also I will set the http check timeout to 8 seconds).
