Leagcy OS monitoring

Hello over there!
I am looking for some assistance.
I wish to monitor a legacy OS, namely a Windows Server 2008 R2 but i am facing the following issue: "Agent update failed: OS is too old. Please check the agent “Python environment” and set it to “Deploy legacy environments”.

Monitoring server: Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS

Check MK version: 2.3.0p20.cee

Hi, just create a rule for the agent bakery to deploy an older python version with the agent. To do that: search for rule “Install Python runtime environment” create a rule for the affected hosts like this: [image] bake and deploy the resulting agent to the affected hosts.

The problem is that if i go to the referred settings i don’t find the marked option.
Left is mine and right what i should see.

You need to deploy the agent without the agent update plugin.
Also pay attention that the agent that you want to deploy has not Python environment included.

The latest agent can be installed on 2008R2.
