Limiting items in monitored on the core site from the remote sites

We are setting up a distributed monitoring at our company with our remote sites being the different groups check_mk monitoring sites.

We would like to be able to use distributed monitoring to monitor their sites, but there are some service checks they do not need us to monitor. The items they do not need us to monitor are items they just want to gather information for historical information or reminders for them to do some action.

Does anyone know a way to do something like this, like on a single site you can use host and service groups to limit what a person can see by their contact group?

I found the answer to what I needed. What I needed was to use contact groups and then create a rule for the services I didn’t want them to see and do a negate for the contact group. Also in Global Settings to change the “Authorization Setting” to be strict.
