Local like check, but executed on the checkmk server itself for a monitored host. Possible?

I’m running CEE 2.1. I’d like to create something simple that outputs in a “local check” manner and associate that as a “service” for a host, but have it run locally on the checkmk host itself. Essentially, the check is querying checkmk for something, but the output is related to the monitored host and I want it to show up as a service for that monitored host.

Can this be done?
