Logrotate service stopped every week

CheckMK version: v2.3.0p23
Appliance version: v1.7.8
Problem:
After updating CheckMK to the version v2.3.0p23, we usually receive a notification every week at midnight reporting the logrotate service stopped. We check to see the logrotate service is triggered by its timer daily, but the logrotate config is configured to execute weekly. Looks like this is a new feature in the appliance 1.7.8 since we did not see it in previous versions.
Our concern is, can we adjust the logrotate config to keep the service itself running all the time, or any other ways to have CheckMK does not trigger such the notification if logrotate works as desired.

I have the same issue since appliance 1.7.8 and 2.3.0p26 … how did you resolve ?

Unfortunately, I did not figure it out yet. Issue still occurs from time to time.
