As far as my knowledge goes. most IDP’s can map attributes on their end to (mine does atleast)
However, having that said in regards of your suggestion i would welcome a full support on mapping of any attribute offered in a/the assertion to an attribute in CMK, not just the/your mentioned attribute in specific.

OK, SAML2 implementation in CMK is not able to map attributes from Entra ID like mobilephone to the internal ones like “pager number”. I hope this would be possible soon.
We are in the transition phase form LDAP/Active Directory to SAML2/Entra ID. And I can see that the users cannot see/change their pager address (mobile phone number). in the user profile. The filed is not visible there at all for SAML users. The administrators can to do this on the User management page, though.
Is it really not possible that a user adds or changes his pager address at his own? Why not? Can it be changed to enable users to manage this data?
