I am new to CheckMK…need to know whether Metric Data available in checkmk local DB ? what is the format of Metric Web Service?

Another thing I want to know is, can we send metrics to another monitoring tool using rest API ?.or any other method ? events forwarding is done , but checking if metric also be sent to external tool
