Missing configuration option strict visibility of services

CMK version: 2.2.0p22
OS version: Ubuntu 22.04.4 LTS

I am trying to restrict a user in such a way that he won’t be able to see all services of a host, he is in a contact group for. I’ve assigned the contact group to the services he is allowed to see.

However, according to the documentation (Users, roles and permissions - User and authorization configuration) I should be able to set the Host setting to “Strict - Visible if user is contact” at Global settings > Monitoring Core > Authorization settings. When I navigate to Monitoring Core though, there is only a single select box for choosing between “Nagios 3” and “No monitoring core”.

The picture shown is from the “Site management” section of the global settings.
Search directly for “Authorization settings” inside setup menu.
Then you will get this.

Can’t find it though

There was one information missing in your post. You are using the RAW edition^^
For this edition you need to configure it inside the Nagios cfg files for livestatus.
The file can be found inside “~/etc/mk-livestatus/” → nagios.cfg

From a very old post by myself

Thanks a lot! This has worked for me.
